Road Marking
1.1 Thermoplastic Road Marking
Road Markings(including raised pavement markers) serve an important function in conveying to road users information and requirements that might not be possible using upright signs. A system of clear and effective road markings is essential for the guidance and control of vehicles and pedestrians.
Road Markings often have an advantage compared with upright signs in that road markings often can be seen when a sign is obscured, and, unlike such signs, can provide a continuing message.
Road markings may guide traffic or give advance warning, or they may impose restrictions that are supported by legal traffic regulations. They may act as a supplement to road signs and other road devices, but they are often the only effective means of conveying certain regulations and warnings to drivers. Road markings layouts should be considered in detail at the preliminary design stage of both new projects and highway improvement projects.

Intersection and Interchange Markings:
This section details road markings that shall be used at various types of intersection. Relevant signs must accompany some markings and, where necessary, those signs are detailed

Passive Traffic Management:

1.2 Cold Paint Road Marking
Cold paint is usually include solvent-based traffic paint, waterborne and other one-component acrylic paint.
The layer can be mark about 0.2-0.6 mm thickness, which can last 3- 6 months normally.

1.3 Cold Plastic (2k) Road Marking
Cold plastic road paint is also called two component road line paint. You should mix material A, material B, and hardener completely, then mark on pavement surfaces. With the advantages of high durability, low abrasion and low dirt ad-hessian. The reflective performance is much better than cold paint and thermoplastic paint.
Since the mixed paint will cure quickly , the construction of two-component paint requires higher workers and equipment. Before construction ,workers must make sure that component A and component B cannot be added incorrectly to prevent pre-curing in the cold plastic marking machine. According to different line striping application, there’re spray, screed, vibration, structured agglomerate, datelines etc type cold plastic paint and machine.
